League Update: Wednesday Waiver Wire led by a rookie named Dion

Going into middle of week 2, the pick-up of the season goes to Clipper Nation and his foresight in picking up Kyrie Irving's backcourt mate, Dion Waiters.

With his explosion Monday night (28 PTS, 7 3PM, 1 TO) against the porous Clippers defense,  you can expect Waiters' confidence to be sky-high. Here are some other highlights:

While a poll early this season made it clear that majority of NBA owners supported Mitt Romney and the players were in Obama's camp, one burly but nerdy power forward used his twitter account to share who he voted for:
