Video: Tnt's NBA Future Promo Is Kind Of Creepy and Cool at the Same TIme

A lot of these things could happen in the new NBA season, or if you're like me, they may have already happened in Association mode of your last NBA 2k13 season.

Metta World Peace Took A Subway to His First Knicks Game

Thanks to the brother of the forward formerly known as Ron Artest, we got news this afternoon that Metta (or Ron), actually took a subway to Madison Square Garden for the Knicks home opener vs the Bucks.

Judging by the photos posed by reporter Jim Baumbach, it looks like things went as planned. However, I couldn't help but wish that the following might have happened for MWP's trip to his Knicks debut.

1) Metta gets lost, ends up at Barclays Center.

2) Metta dons the fake beard and cowboy hat he wore on Jimmy Kimmel as his undercover garb.

3) Metta brings Beno Udrih along and everyone thinks Metta is Ethan Hawke's body guard.

Noteworthy for 10/29/2013

Too Tall was that Roy Hibbert guy as he grabbed 12 boards in the first quarter.  He finished with 16 total and 7 blocks.  There was basically nothing to cheer for the Magic besides Victor Oladipo returning to his Indiana roots.

Two Pretty Good & One Pretty Gross Quote for Tonight's Lineup of Games

Magic vs. Pacers

From Orlando Sentinal:

"It should be fun," Magic small forward Maurice Harkless said. "It's going to be a good measuring stick for us. They're a good team, a great defensive team. It's just going to give us a chance to go out there and see where we are."

Bulls vs. Heat

Per the AP:

“When Dallas got their rings [on Christmas Day 2011], we wanted to embarrass them on their home floor, wanted to defecate on their night,” Bosh said of a Mavericks team that beat the Heat in the Finals in June 2011. “We know [the Bulls] want to do that to us and they want to spoil what we have going.”

Clippers vs. Lakers

According to Mike Bresnahan, LA Times:

“I respect what they’re doing and what they’ve done, but still, they’re nothing like the Lakers,” Kaman said Monday. “You look up here at all the championships. They’re never going to have that. It’s never going to happen. I don’t see it.
“There’s just something about the Lakers. The history behind everything. It just makes it that much sweeter.”

I'm sure you were able to distinguish between the three.
