Tweet: David West Shows How Ridiculously High Gerald Green Jumps

Last Friday, Indiana Pacer, David West tweeted a photo from Pacer teammate, Paul George's instagram account of newest Pacer, Gerald Green recreating his memorably cute cupcake candle blowing" dunk from 2007.

After winning the slam dunk contest in '07, Green struggled to find his niche as he was waived from teams like the Mavs, Rockets and Lakers. After bouncing around from team to team and even playing for a Russian team named  PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban from '09 to '11, he returned to the NBA this past season through a stint with the D-league, Los Angeles Defenders and even winning a D-league All-Star game MVP.  

Green had a breakout year this past season after being signed to a 10-day contract with the New Jersey Nets. This season he'll be taking his kangaroo calves to Indiana after inking a 3 year, $10.5 million contract with the Pacers.  Thank you Donnie Walsh for signing this guy. Now while watching the smooth elbow jumper of David West and the precise footwork of a Roy Hibbert, we might also see Gerald Green pull off one of these pouty lip-at-the rim dunks.
