Video: Best Combo of Music Used On An Andre Drummond Highlight Reel

With the season starting in about 3 days, that Andre Drummond highlight reel that you have been waiting for is finally out on youtube.

Take out your English Literature AP goggles and interpret the use of Coldplay's "Fix You" and another song that reminds me of music that you would hear in the trailer of a Christopher Nolan movie, with rookie Andre Drummond's preseason highlights.

I for one am a huge fan of what youtube user DJxNVxME did here by compiling a narrative of Drummond's promise as a player.

Pure genius the way that he edits in clips of the futility of the Piston's these last couple seasons (0:00 - 0:25) and then captures the irony of once heralded savior, Ben Gordon, leaving the team for the Bobcats (appropriately timed so that Chris Martin sings "When you love someone but it goes to waste, could it be woooo-rrrr-st").

Then Drummond enters the scene and promptly dunks so viciously that it is obvious that the only interpretation available here is that with A.D., the Piston's can obviously only rise and become one of the league elites. ("I Promise you, I'll learn from my mistaaaaaaaaakes" - Chris Martin Croons).

All of which transitions to more of Drummond doin' what he does while the musical duo of E.S. Posthumus provides that blockbuster movie trailer sound to convince you that these meaningless preseason highlights actually point to Drummond and not Ant Davis as the best rookie big man this season.

I'm obviously psyched for Andre Drummond, Piston's savior, coming to mine and your home team arena soon.
