Video: Another Rasheed Wallace Dunk in Practice

Since Andre Drummond tagged this as #TBT, this must be one of the unshown footages from the dunk contest between assistant coach Sheed and Tony Mitchell that I posted a little while back.

Really like the artistic eye Drummond has for using the monochrome filter.  Very appropriate for one, cause black and white means its old and this is a a throwback thursday video, and two, Rasheed Wallace dunking in sweats is funnier when seen in black and white.

Lets Start the Tony Mitchell Hype For This Year's Dunk Contest

It's that time of the year when people start clamoring for what relatively no name guy should get entered into the slam dunk contest in this year's all-star game festivities in New Orleans.

For the unknown part, Tony Mitchell fits the bill as last year's 2nd round, 37th overall pick from North Texas.  A quick look at his bballreference.com confirms this further as T-Mitch (trying this out, feel free to borrow it), has only played a grand total of 25 minutes this season.

Not the best camerawork on these dunks, but a quick peak at youtube returns some dandies including a karate chop block, and this compilation of ridiculous dunks form last year's rookie combine.  I'll give you a second to check out those links and then agree with me when i say, "please book his flight to N'awlins, NBA decision makers".

Video: One of Those Dancing Elves Memes Starring Some Detroit Pistons

I imagine these things to be funny with almost any faces, but Charlie V definitely made some choice picks with Gigi Datome, coach Sheed and my personal favorite, pouty Josh Smith.  23 days until Christmas, everybody!

Video: A Dunk Contest with Rasheed Wallace

Thanks for hiring Sheed, Detroit.  I know he's been impactful already in teaching Andre how to be a better defender, but look at how much more funny he makes Andre's vine.  Just Awesome.

Video: Andre Drummond and Kyle Singler Modeling

The Pistons have really got this themed home games thing down. Notably, they had their star wars night earlier this month with lightsaber battle promo video starring one of the most underrated mascots in the NBA.

Next month (March 4th) they are now going to have a 70's/80's night.  To get Detroitians and others hyped, they had their lovable front court rookie duo of mega athletic Andre Drummond and mega trickshothetic Kyle Singler dress up in what I assume is stereotypical garb if they had been born 30 years ago.

Looks like Singler got the short end of the stick cause while Drummond's got the rope gold chain/ Run DMClook, Singler just looks like a used car salesmen.

Video: Kyle Singer is Getting Ridiculous With These Trick Shot Videos

If you missed the first, or the second, Singler's now got a third.  This guy has got to be a wizard or something.  Cause of the ridiculous ease in which he makes those shots and cause he  looks like he could be one of the Weasleys.

Video: Pistons Discuss Their Fashion Sense

No creative answers from those Pistons, but still some comical stuff.  Most notably Jonas Jerebko trying to milk the fact that he's 'european' as the crux of his argument for why he's best drsssed. Sorry, that's just simply not true.  Dirk is european and he hates neckties.  But you're swedish? Joakim Noah is half, so yeah, faulty argument.

Video: Kyle Singler Gettin' Buckets

Impressive that Mr. Singler can make shots on a football field, over a water fountain, and even off a moving Honda Accord. Even more impressive that he does so in those raggedy converses.   Creatively impressive that he is following up on his original buckets video by taking to the streets of Detroit to show off his ridiculous shot-making skills.

Sadly un-impressive in neglecting to choose a catchy 80's rock song as the soundtrack (see  Mark Titus' rainmaker vid) and also for how Singler has gone away from his "i'm with COCO" haircut.

All in all, a very Detroit Piston performance featuring  vast potential but just short of what it takes to be a world-class trick shot video.

With the season starting in about 3 days, that Andre Drummond highlight reel that you have been waiting for is finally out on youtube.
