Flashback Fridays: Eddie Jones as a Laker

Once upon a time, there was a shooting guard called the most complete Laker and all-around player in the NBA.  No, not young KB, but Eddie Jones.

With the Lakers starting the season 0-3, I was reminded of the first lottery pick that the Lakers ever had in Eddie Jones (Andrew Bynum was the 2nd).  Who knows, maybe this revamped laker squad might do well to tank a year, grab some young talent in the 2013 draft to go along with Dwight, Pau, and a savvy veteran Kobe (think of Kareem at the tail-end of his career), and go for the title next year. #lafanspanicking

League Update: Lakers Gang Trades with Sleeper Squad

Lakers Gang has traded two of the three players he gained from the earlier trade in the season from Challah to Sleeper Squad.  Mirroring the real-life trade of James Harden, he and the injured Amare Stoudemire are acquired by Lakers Gang.

Tony Parker, who just hit the game-winner over the Thunder is sent to Sleeper Squad along with the yet-to-play Carmelo Anthony.

Working on a visual diagram of the players that have been acquired and traded by Sleeper Squad in this short season.  Players seem to leave his team as often as Blake Griffin Kia commercials are shown on TNT!

Highlight: Jamal Crawford Takes Rudy Gay Ice-skating

the Thunder see your KIA commercial(s), Blake, and raise you a Chrysler jingle.
