Report: Eddy Curry is Probably Starting For the Mavericks On Tuesday

According to fan nation, Eddy Curry will be the starting center for the Mavericks at least for the opening day game against the Lakers.

Curry, who was cut by the Spurs earlier this season, was picked up off waivers by the Mavericks on Thursday because of the injuries to starting center, Chris Kaman.

Laker fans, start your fist-pumping now as Curry hasn't even played a total of 30 minutes during the preseason nor a full season in over 5 years.

On Tuesday, Curry may still put up some decent offensive numbers, which was always his strength, but Rick Carlisle has noted that it is his defense and conditioning (which always was his weakness) are the areas he needs to improve upon.  Translation: Dwight Howard should have his way in the paint both scoring and rebounding-wise.
